Wonderful, quality TV watching! Good morals, good stories. Interesting to watch even though filmed years ago. My daughter and son love the DVD set.

I purchased this dvd as a gift to my grandaughter. It's a pleasure that this was available and that children are choosing to watch it after reading the book. Great gift

This is probably the best season, I've seen most of these episodes at least 20 times.. and some of them still get to me...so 5 stars for this season. br /But the DVD quality is ridiculously bad. Pretty sure it's this one or season 2, where the trivia at the end doesn't even have the right answers. On top of that the dvd menu plays a horrible loop of the theme song, so you can't leave it sitting on the menu for too long without actually going insane.br /Overall, the video quality is the same as what's on TV as far as I can tell, it's just really poorly put together. But I don't think there's enough of a following for a 'new and improved' version of these dvds, and I wouldn't hold my breath for blue ray here, so if you're gonna buy the series, might as well get this.

My 9 year old grandaughter is fascinated by these very well done episodes. She is enjoying them and learning at the same time.
